About:
Visit Ghastly Grovers Gulch, the Haunted Town of Horrors. If yer not Yella. During October, for the 8th year running, Lion's Park in Fox River Grove, is transformed into a haunting, bonechilling ghostly ole west town full of despair and doom: A Haunted House for all ages. Navigate a maze full of vagrants, gangrels and guttersnipes, with a swaying train car, a spinning room, a possessed fire-breathing Indian's skull and a visit to Boot Hill....On the wrong side of the dirt. The show down is set for 6pm on October 20, with additional Grizzly apparitions during the next fortnight, Oct 21, 27 & 28. The menacing realm of terror can be visited by younger cowpokes (age 8 and under) and those hooligans of weak heart from 6:00-7:00pm ($3 bounty per person). Those kin who think they can brave the bloodcurdling adventure can try to survive from 7:30-10pm ($7 bounty per person). This annual event is a fundraiser present by the Fox River Grove Recreation Council, a non-profit organization and all proceeds assist in funding sports events for the children of Fox River Grove.
