Based on a local legend, “The Bloody Reign of the Mad Miner” portrays the story of a gold miner driven to murder his mail-order bride. Witness the carnage of the mad miner’s wrath and hear the screams of his ill-fated wife and other victims throughout the haunted mine. Old-fashioned hayrides, and storyteller, and magician will also be available. All proceeds benefit Gold History Corporation, a non-profit organization that encourages and supports the preservation of North Carolina’s gold mining heritage at Reed Gold Mine.|
