History:
OPEN EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT IN OCTOBER AT 7:00 PM The urban legend of the house on 107 North Street is that an old lady lived in the home with 19 cats. However, the old lady passed away from natural causes but remained in the house for a few weeks thereafter due to a lack family or friends. After several weeks, the neighbors complained about a foul stench. The authorities were called to inspect the house and investigators found a mutilated body. It was initially thought to be a homicide until it was realized that the 19 cats devoured the body as a means for food. Somewhere during this process and due to the old lady having no heirs, the building was turned over to the Township of Wells in Brilliant, Ohio as a result of the back taxes that were owed on the property.
UPDATE!!! The above information was recently confirmed by an elderly gentleman who is a retired EMT and actually responded to the call for service.
